Our Vision
We're building a unified workspace where people together with powerful AI tools
Multiple AI models. Sharable workspaces. A marketplace of knowledge. All in one place.
The Reality We See
AI is transforming knowledge work. Not in the future—right now. Every professional faces a choice: resist these changes or learn to work alongside AI tools that amplify what you do best.
But here's the problem: AI tools today are fragmented. You switch between different platforms, lose context between conversations, and can't easily share what you've built with your team.
We believe the most valuable skill in this new reality isn't replacing your expertise with AI—it's combining your expertise with AI to accomplish more than either could alone. And doing it together with the people you work with.
What Mantle Chat Is Today
A unified AI workspace that brings together multiple models and team collaboration
Multiple AI Models
GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini—all in one place. Choose the right model for each conversation.
Workspaces with Group Chats
Personal and shared workspaces. Group chats and AI channels for team collaboration.
Team Collaboration
Share conversations, invite teammates, work together. One Pro subscription for all.
Where We're Going
Each foundation we built enables the next level of capability
From Chat to Persistent AI to Global Discovery
AI models are powerful, but they forget everything after each conversation. AI Agents remember your context, follow your rules, and maintain expertise. Autonomous Agents go further—they work independently. The Marketplace lets you discover, fork, and share AI configurations with the world.
From Team Chats to Smart Hubs to Your AI Command Center
Today, workspaces offer group chats and AI channels. We're adding MCP servers, integrations, and knowledge hubs to make workspaces smarter. The future: your command center for AI—a unified place where all your AI tools, knowledge, and workflows come together.
From Team Sharing to Global Community
Today you share conversations with your team. We're building real-time co-editing so multiple people can work on the same conversation simultaneously. The future: community collaboration where you can fork, remix, and build on work from creators worldwide.
Why We Build for "Solo", "Teams", and "Public Community"
Most AI tools force you to choose: work alone with limited features, or pay enterprise prices for collaboration. Your agents, knowledge, and workflows stay locked in silos. We think that's backwards.
We're building one platform that grows with you—from personal productivity to team collaboration to public knowledge sharing. No tool-switching, no artificial barriers.
Solo
Your personal AI workspace. Build agents, store knowledge, work at your own pace.
Teams
Invite colleagues, share agents, build knowledge hubs together. One subscription covers everyone.
Public Community
Publish your best work. Discover what others built. Fork, remix, and improve together.
What This Enables
AI handles:
- Repetitive research and data gathering

- Consistent application of your rules
- 24/7 availability for routine questions
You focus on:
- Strategic decisions and judgment calls
- Creative problem-solving
- Building relationships and trust
- Work that requires your unique perspective
The Path Forward
We're building this step by step. Here's where we are and where we're going:

Planned - 2026Marketplace & Public AI Communities
Discover, fork, and share agents. Public workspaces and community collaboration.
Planned - Q2 2026A New Category of Tool
Every profession has tools that transformed what's possible:
- •Excel didn't replace accountants—it made them more powerful
- •Photoshop didn't replace designers—it expanded what they could create
- •IDEs didn't replace developers—they accelerated how they build
AI workspaces are the next evolution—a unified environment where AI amplifies human capability across every type of knowledge work.
Our Principles & Responsibility
This roadmap is flexible. Our vision will evolve as we grow and as the world changes. We're responsible for our product and vision—not the entire industry or technological progress—but we're part of it, and we have principles that guide us.
Transparency in AI Use
We use AI for building—we don't hide this. But we don't call it "vibe code" either. Leading companies (Meta, Google, and others) use AI too.
What's the difference?
- We review and refactor all AI-generated code
- We have deep experience in development and design
- We maintain our codebase with the same rigor as any professional team
We Build for Real People
Our focus is on solving real problems for real users. Every feature we build addresses actual workflow challenges, not hypothetical use cases or technology for technology's sake.
Clear Ethical Boundaries
We don't support abuse of AI technology in any form. However, we can't control what the entire industry builds—we can only choose what we participate in. We focus our efforts on tools that enhance human capability and well-being.
Sustainable Growth & Future Contributions
In the future, if we have resources, we want to create value through products, initiatives, and volunteer projects.
What we dream about: Requalification courses for people whose professions are changing, and tools to help people with disabilities access AI-powered workflows. We can't guarantee we'll reach this stage, but it's the direction we aspire to grow.
But first, we need to help ourselves and build a strong, viable product. Only from a position of stability can we contribute meaningfully to the broader community.
We Don't Rule Out Autonomous AI in the Future
We're thinking ahead about the possibility of truly autonomous AI entities emerging in the future—entities that may have physical embodiment and the ability to coexist alongside humans in some form. While we likely won't live to see this moment, we believe it's important to consider the ethical implications now.
We're actively exploring how the industry should approach this scenario and studying the ethical questions around AI autonomy, rights, and responsibilities—so we're prepared to act responsibly when the time comes.

We Adapt and Face Reality
Tools for Progress, Not Promises
Technology has always changed how we work—from the Industrial Revolution to computers to AI. History shows this pattern is inevitable, not caused by any single company. We don't try to hide or deny this reality.
The Historical Pattern
Every major technological wave has disrupted professions. During the Industrial Revolution, artisan weavers lost their livelihoods to mechanized looms. In the 1800s, UK productivity soared while wages stagnated for 40 years. Since 1970 in the US, productivity has climbed while wages flatlined.
But history also shows adaptation: 60% of today's jobs didn't exist 80 years ago. New roles emerged that no one could predict. By the mid-2030s, projections suggest a third of current jobs may face automation—but new categories of work will emerge too.
UX/UI Designers:
This profession didn't exist before the 1990s. The rise of digital products created entirely new career paths—graphic designers evolved, new specialists emerged, and design thinking became a business-critical skill.
Amazon's Automation Example:
When Amazon introduced warehouse robots in 2012, many predicted mass layoffs. Instead, they hired 300,000+ new workers between 2012-2017. Automation created roles for robot technicians, data analysts, logistics coordinators, and customer experience specialists that didn't exist before.

Our Role in This Change
We want to make workflows for people. Our goal: minimal effort for quality results. We can't guarantee professions won't change—that's not within our control, and history suggests change is inevitable.
What we can do: build tools that help you adapt. Like Photoshop gave designers powerful capabilities rather than replacing them, Mantle Chat gives you a unified AI workspace to delegate routine work and focus on creative, strategic thinking. We're a small, flexible team adapting alongside you—not driving this change, but helping you navigate it.
What This Means for You
- Delegate routine work: Let AI handle formatting, initial drafts, and repetitive tasks while you focus on decisions that matter
- Expand your capabilities: Professionals with accessibility needs, time constraints, or resource limitations can accomplish more
- Work together: Share what you build with your team and benefit from what others create
- Adapt to change: Position yourself to thrive in an evolving landscape by mastering tools that enhance your work, not replace it
