New Premium Model: Gemini 3 Pro

We've added support for Google's Gemini 3 Pro—one of the most advanced AI models available! This premium model is now fully integrated into Mantle Chat.

According to their blog, Gemini 3 Pro is Google's most intelligent model yet, with state-of-the-art reasoning and multimodal capabilities that significantly outperform Gemini 2.5 Pro on every benchmark. It tops the LMArena leaderboard and demonstrates PhD-level reasoning on complex tasks across science, mathematics, coding, and creative work. It also gets context and intent behind your requests with less prompting.

New Feature: Workspace Context — Add Custom Instructions and Knowledge Files to Your Workspace

We've released Workspace Context, a feature that enables users to configure persistent AI behavior and upload reference materials at the workspace level.

Available Functionality

1. Custom Instructions

Users can define workspace-level instructions that apply to all conversations within that workspace. These instructions persist across sessions and are shared with all workspace members.

2. Knowledge Files

Users can upload files (PDFs, documents, images) to a workspace. These files are accessible to all workspace members and can be referenced by the AI during conversations.

User Feedback

During development, users requested this feature for the following purposes:

  • Maintaining consistent tone and structure for content creation
  • Storing project-specific coding standards and guidelines
  • Sharing team knowledge and reducing repeated context explanations
  • Defining output formats for specialized workflows

AI Assistants (In Development)

We've started work on a powerful new feature: AI Assistants. We plan to launch this in 2-3 weeks!

MVP Launch:

  • Workspace-level assistants with custom behaviors
  • Team collaboration: Create and customize assistants together with your team members, not just personally
  • Knowledge base integration and file upload support for specialized training

Future Plans:

Later, we're planning to build a public assistants library where communities can work together on shared assistants and templates for common use cases.

AI Assistants will take Workspace Context to the next level by allowing you to create specialized AI personas tailored to specific tasks or domains. Stay tuned for the launch!

Alpha User Survey Extension

Thank you to all our alpha users! Because some users joined later than others, we have decided to keep the DEV environment open for one more month — until December 1.

The feedback survey will also remain open until December 1. We will be sending out personal updates shortly. Your feedback has been invaluable in shaping the future of Mantle Chat.

Beyond the major features, we've also:

  • Fixed blog cache issues for faster content loading
  • Updated public pages design with a cleaner, more consistent look
  • Made various UI/UX improvements across the platform
