We've officially closed our alpha phase, celebrated some amazing community milestones, and shipped several UI improvements.

Alpha Phase Complete!

Over the past month, our alpha users tried Mantle Chat with different levels of engagement. Your feedback, bug reports, and feature requests have been incredibly valuable and helped us improve significantly. Thank you to every single alpha user who joined us on this journey.

Your insights have been invaluable, and we're excited to take everything we've learned into our next phase!

New 3D Starfield Background

This week, we added a beautiful interactive 3D starfield background to the hero section of our overview page!

Built using Three.js and the maath library for mathematical utilities, this new background creates an immersive, space-themed experience that perfectly captures the feeling of exploring infinite possibilities with AI.

We used the Angular Three Stars example as inspiration, based on the Gatsby Stars demo by pmndrs.

Technical Highlights:

  • 3,000 stars dynamically rendered in a spherical formation
  • Interactive rotation - drag to explore the starfield from different angles
  • Smooth animations with auto-rotation when idle
  • Dark mode support - stars adapt their color based on your theme preference
  • Performance optimized with proper WebGL rendering and resize handling

The component uses Angular signals for reactive state management and includes proper SSR (Server-Side Rendering) guards to ensure it works seamlessly across all platforms.

Refined Product Pages

We've updated the copy across our product pages to be more consistent and user-friendly.

For example, we've got:

Our goal was to ensure that no matter which page you land on, you get a clear, cohesive understanding of what Mantle Chat offers and how it can help you work smarter with AI.

These improvements include:

  • More concise feature descriptions
  • Consistent tone and messaging
  • Clearer calls-to-action
  • Better structure for scanning and readability

Product page improvements

Clarifying File Generation Support

We've made it clearer that Mantle Chat doesn't support image generation and file generation.

While some AI models are capable of generating images and files, we've decided not to support these features in Mantle Chat at this time. This week, we updated our promo pages to communicate this more clearly and added system-level restrictions to prevent the LLM from attempting to generate images and other files.

This approach ensures that:

  • AI responses focus on text-based interactions
  • Users have clear expectations about what Mantle Chat can do
  • The platform operates more predictably and consistently

File generation clarification

LinkedIn Success: Best Organic Engagement!

We published a LinkedIn post this week that has the best organic engagement from all our posts at the moment! Here are the stats:

  • 1,279 organic impressions
  • 52.78% engagement rate (that's exceptional!)
  • 378 reactions
  • 45 comments

We owe a huge thank you to our consultant who helped with this post, and to everyone who engaged with it — including several influencers who shared and commented on our content. 💚

Bug Fixes and UI Polish

Beyond the major updates, we've been busy fixing bugs and polishing the user experience:

  • Fixed toast notifications - resolved an issue where toasts weren't displaying correctly
  • Made stars circular - improved visual quality with round dot rendering
  • Added responsiveness - better mobile and tablet experience across the platform
  • Removed unused components - cleaned up codebase for better maintainability
